Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how XIK Labs (operator of EdgeAI Bets) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Service. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. For the rules of using the Service itself, see our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you sign up, our authentication provider Clerk collects your email address and (if provided) your name. If you sign in with Google, Clerk also receives basic profile information from your Google account.
2.2 Authentication Tokens
Clerk stores session tokens in cookies on your device so you stay signed in. If you use Google OAuth, Google issues OAuth tokens that Clerk holds on our behalf.
2.3 Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. We receive from Stripe only the last four digits of your card, your billing email, and your subscription status.
2.4 Usage Data
We collect basic usage telemetry — pages visited, features used, approximate response times — through Vercel Analytics and our own server logs. This is used to debug issues and improve the product.
2.5 User-Provided Data
Bets you log into the Bet Tracker are stored in our database so we can compute your record, P&L, ROI, and bankroll curve. You can delete individual bets at any time from the Tracker page.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- To process payments and manage your subscription;
- To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, plan changes) and, if you opt in, on-demand AI coaching summaries;
- To compute aggregate, anonymized analytics about how the Service is used;
- To respond to support requests; and
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Third-Party Services (Subprocessors)
We use the following service providers to operate the Service. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
- Clerk — authentication and user management
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
- Supabase — application database hosting
- Anthropic — AI processing of analyst prompts
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — application hosting and basic analytics
- Sentry — error monitoring and performance tracking
5. We Do Not Sell Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the subprocessors listed above as needed to operate the Service, or when required by law.
6. Cookies
The Service uses the following cookies:
- Clerk session cookies — required to keep you signed in. Set on the first page load after sign-in.
- Vercel Analytics cookies — used to measure aggregate page views and performance. Anonymous; no cross-site tracking.
- Stripe checkout cookies — set by Stripe’s hosted checkout page when you upgrade. Stripe uses these for fraud prevention.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will sign you out of the Service.
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: we retain your data for as long as your account is active.
- Account deletion requests: personal data is deleted within 30 days of receiving a verified request.
- Stripe transaction records: we retain billing records for seven (7) years as required by IRS recordkeeping rules.
- Anonymized aggregate analytics: retained indefinitely; cannot be used to re-identify you.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and how it is used;
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Opt out of sale or sharing of your personal information — note that we do not sell personal information, but you have the right to opt out regardless;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Limit use of sensitive personal information; and
- Receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@xiklabs.com from the email address associated with your account. We will verify the request and respond within the time required by law (typically 45 days).
9. How to Delete Your Account
- Cancel any active subscription from the Billing page.
- Email privacy@xiklabs.com from your account email asking us to delete your data.
- We will delete your personal data within 30 days. Some data (Stripe transaction history, aggregated analytics, records we are legally required to keep) may be retained as described in Section 7.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for or directed to anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@xiklabs.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least seven (7) days before they take effect.
