Our stance
EdgeAI Bets is an analytics tool. It compares sportsbook odds, grades expected value, and tracks your record. It is not a substitute for self-control, and it is not designed to encourage betting more than you intended. The math we surface is only useful in the hands of a disciplined bettor.
Set limits before you bet
Before placing any wager, decide three numbers and write them down:
- Bankroll — the total amount you can afford to lose without affecting rent, food, debt payments, or savings.
- Per-bet unit size — typically 1–3% of your bankroll. The Bet Tracker enforces this if you set a unit size.
- Time limit — how many hours per week you’ll spend on betting and analysis combined.
Never bet money you cannot afford to lose. Never bet borrowed money. Never bet money earmarked for bills, rent, groceries, child support, or savings.
Warning signs of problem gambling
Any one of these is a serious signal. Multiple at once means stop and seek help today.
- Chasing losses — placing bigger bets to recover from a losing day or week.
- Hiding bets from a partner, family, or friends — or lying about how much you’ve wagered or lost.
- Betting more than budgeted — exceeding the unit size or bankroll cap you set for yourself.
- Using betting as escape from stress, anxiety, loneliness, depression, or other negative emotions.
- Borrowing money to bet, including credit cards, payday loans, or money from family.
- Restlessness or irritability when trying to cut back or stop.
- Job, school, or relationship problems caused or worsened by betting time or losses.

Self-exclusion
Most regulated US sportsbooks honor self-exclusion lists maintained by your state’s gaming commission. Use them. Self-exclusion is binding for the period you choose (typically 1 year, 5 years, or lifetime) and prevents you from opening accounts at participating operators.
